Her Worship Christabel Awo Tei Sasraku is a distinguished Ghanaian legal practitioner and Magistrate with an impressive academic and professional background in political science and law. She is widely recognised for her commitment to the administration of justice, legal excellence, and public service.

She received her secondary education at Ofori Panin Senior High School, where she demonstrated strong academic ability and leadership potential. She proceeded to the University of Ghana, Legon, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, equipping her with a solid foundation in governance, public policy, and constitutional principles.

Driven by her passion for the law and justice, she further pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). She subsequently attended the Ghana School of Law, where she successfully completed her professional legal training and was called to the Ghana Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Superior Courts of Judicature.

Prior to joining the Judiciary, Her Worship Sasraku served as a Legal Officer with the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO). In that role, she handled complex legal matters involving economic and organised crime, providing legal advice, prosecuting cases, and contributing to the enforcement of Ghana’s laws on financial and organised crime. Her tenure at EOCO strengthened her expertise in criminal law, investigations, and regulatory compliance.

She currently serves as a Magistrate in the Judicial Service of Ghana, where she presides over both criminal and civil matters with fairness, impartiality, and professionalism. Her judicial work reflects a deep commitment to the rule of law, the protection of constitutional rights, and the efficient delivery of justice.
