Bold2Decide delivers accessible, age-appropriate, and inclusive reproductive health education and services to in-school and out-of-school youth—dismantling harmful gender norms and empowering them to build healthy futures.

The Challenge

Adolescents and young people in Ghana often face peer pressure, misinformation, and social stigma when seeking reproductive health guidance. Lacking access to youth-friendly services and supportive guidance, many youth face preventable challenges—including unintended pregnancies and STIs—that derail their education and personal growth.

Our Approach

Bold2Decide creates safe, inclusive, and judgment-free spaces in schools, apprenticeship centers, and local communities. We equip young people with comprehensive health education, connect them with confidential youth-friendly healthcare providers, and engage parents, teachers, and community leaders to foster a supportive environment.

Comprehensive Health & Sexuality Education

Delivering accurate, age-appropriate instruction covering bodily autonomy, emotional well-being, personal hygiene, and reproductive rights.

Informed Decision-Making & HIV/STI Prevention

Interactive life-skills training encouraging healthy choices, modern contraception awareness, HIV prevention, and STI management.

Linkage to Youth-Friendly Health Services

Direct referral pathways connecting in-school and out-of-school youth to respectful, confidential family planning, antenatal care, and postnatal support.

Supportive Community & Parental Engagement

Involving parents, caregivers, teachers, and traditional leaders to break communication taboos and build empathetic support networks.

Addressing Gender & Social Norms

Facilitating guided workshops that challenge harmful stereotypes, reduce reproductive health inequalities, and promote gender equity.
